COVID-19 INFORMATION PAGE

As the clinic re-opens there will be new rules and guidelines to follow to keep everyone safe.  

Before the appointment

 

  • If you have any other the following symptoms, then you must call and postpone your appointment.

  1. Fever or High Temperature.

  2. Continuous Cough.

  3. Loss or Change in Taste/Smell

 

  • If you come into contact with anyone who has Covid-19, then you must call and postpone your appointment until your self-isolation has finished. 

 

  • The day before your appointment I will be contacting you for a telephone consultation. This consultation will not take much of your time but it is COMPULSORY. After you have passed the screening questions we can then continue with your appointment the following day. 

 

  • Limited appointment availability. Due to a thorough cleaning schedule, 30 minutes after every appointment is allocated to cleaning. This means there will be less appointments available in the week. A £20 fee will be charged for late cancellations and no shows. Cancellation charges are not given to those who cancelled due to Covid-19 reasons. 

 

  • Online bookings are disabled at this time. All appointments will be made via email or phone. Appointment availability is limited. 

 

At the appointment

 

  • ALL CLIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO BRING A FACE MASK OR MOUTH/NOSE COVERING. This is compulsory for all clients. If you do not bring one then the appointment will NOT go ahead. The availability of face masks is limited, and I cannot provide clients with any. 

 

  • Clients will no longer be asked to wait in the shop. Clients are asked to wait in the cars outside. I will then collect you for your appointment. Please do not knock on the door, please phone instead. We will be using the outside door located under the metal stairs.

 

  • If you’re waiting for your appointment outside, please allow 2 metres distance from the door

  • As there are 30 minute gaps between clients there will be no crossover.

  • Before entry to the clinic you will again be asked screening questions and your temperature will be taken using a non-contact thermometer. If you have a temperature you will be asked to return home to self-isolate. 

 

  • Clients must also sanitise their hands before entry.

 

  • What will I be wearing? I will be wearing the following to protect you and I. I will be wearing a face mask, face shield, apron and gloves. The face shield will be sanitised between each appointment. Face masks, aprons and gloves will be disposed of and replaced with fresh/sterile PPE. 

 

After the appointment

 

  • You will be asked to sanitise your hands with hand sanitiser provided or using your own. 

 

  • CARD PAYMENTS ONLY – NO HANDLING OF CASH.

 

  • You will leave via the outside door (the same way you entered).

 

  • If you develop any symptoms or contract Covid-19. Please contact me as soon as possible. 

 

  • After you have left the clinic, cleaning will begin before the next appointment.
